Pro Audio Systems At The Chris And Stuart Broad MND 6-A-Side Cricket Tournament
Pro Audio Systems Hire Department were recently delighted to join fellow sponsors MNDA (the Motor Neurone Disease Association), Sector Marketing, Jaguar Cars, the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) and Sky Sports in supporting a charity cricket event in aid of motor neurone disease.
Chris Broad, the former England and Nottinghamshire batsman, and father of current England all-rounder Stuart Broad, sadly lost his wife Miche to the disease in 2010. He and his children subsequently set up the Broad Appeal (http://www.thebroadappeal.org/) to raise funds and awareness of MND.
Held at Wellesbourne Cricket Club in Warwickshire, the day was a great success despite some typically seasonal English summer weather, and also featured former internationals Phil DeFreitas, Darren Bicknell and Dean Headley.
PAS Hire supplied a technician, Meyer Sound weatherproof sound reinforcement systems and wireless microphones for both the post-match dinner and awards as well as a spectator system for in-match commentary.
